What is BioGaia Protectis Baby Drops and who is it for?
BioGaia Protectis Baby Drops is a probiotic oral liquid for infants, providing Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 at a minimum of 100 million CFU per daily dose of 5 drops. It is formulated for use from birth and is suitable for both breast-fed and bottle-fed babies.
Each 5 mL bottle contains approximately 100 daily doses. The drops are dispensed onto the breast, added to breast milk or lukewarm formula, or given on a sterile spoon. No refrigeration is required; store below 25°C.
When to Consider This
This probiotic oral liquid is formulated for infants from birth. It is suitable for breast-fed and bottle-fed babies. It helps decrease symptoms of infant colic, supports healthy bowel function in infants, and helps restore beneficial intestinal flora in growing children. It supports healthy gastrointestinal immune function in infants and supports healthy immune system function.
The manufacturer does not recommend use in preterm infants.

How to Use
Shake well for 10 seconds before each use. Tilt the bottle gently to dispense. Give 5 drops once daily — dispensed onto the breast, added to breast milk or lukewarm formula, or given on a sterile spoon. Do not add drops to hot food or hot drinks, and do not feed directly from the bottle into the mouth, as this may reduce the quality of the product. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
